I'm really enjoying these series and this one in particular. Perhaps it's everything that a child of the 50's-60's didn't get from their father. This group just seems so relaxed and together. I know that gender shouldn't matter but if I imagine this as a traditional family group I cannot help but imagine traditional gender roles to go with the adults. The wide angle lens you use works most of the time (and is probably a necessity in the small space) but when it stretches peoples heads at the edge I think it dominates the photo, eg. #3. I also prefer the shots (again) that appear more documentary in style, the cooking shots over the slightly 'stand-offish-posed' reading and gaming shots. Favourites are 1, 2, 5, 6, 9.
